CHILDREN’S INTEREST CONTINUUM™ ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE DISCLOSURE & TRANSPARENCY STATEMENT Effective Date: July 14, 2026

1. Purpose of This Disclosure

Children’s Interest Continuum™ (“CIC”) provides an evidence-governed litigation intelligence platform that uses a combination of structured workflows, proprietary methodologies, automated processing, and artificial intelligence-assisted tools. This Artificial Intelligence Disclosure & Transparency Statement explains how artificial intelligence (“AI”) and automated technologies are used within the CIC Platform (“Platform”). The purpose of this disclosure is to provide transparency regarding:

  • what AI does;
  • what AI does not do;
  • how information is processed;
  • how users maintain control;
  • the limitations of AI-assisted outputs.

2. AI Is an Assistive Technology

Artificial intelligence within the Platform is used as an assistive technology designed to improve organization, efficiency, retrieval, and workflow management. AI does not independently:

  • make legal decisions;
  • determine legal outcomes;
  • determine credibility;
  • determine whether allegations are true or false;
  • replace attorneys, courts, experts, or professional judgment;
  • act as an attorney or legal representative.

AI-generated outputs are informational and organizational tools that require human review.

3. CIC’s Layered Intelligence Approach

The CIC Platform does not operate as a system where raw evidence is simply uploaded and an AI model independently creates conclusions. Instead, information moves through structured processing layers. Layer 1 — Extraction and Organization Uploaded information may first be processed to identify and organize available information, including:

  • documents;
  • text;
  • dates;
  • communications;
  • metadata;
  • records;
  • relevant structural information.

The purpose of extraction is to transform unstructured information into organized, searchable information. Extraction does not determine meaning, credibility, or legal significance. Layer 2 — Structured Evidence Management The Platform organizes information into structured records designed to assist users with:

  • evidence management;
  • timelines;
  • document organization;
  • discovery preparation;
  • record retrieval;
  • case organization.

Original user-provided materials remain the source records. Platform-generated organization does not replace original evidence. Layer 3 — Methodology-Based Analysis CIC uses proprietary frameworks, methodologies, and structured analytical approaches to assist users in identifying relationships, patterns, timelines, inconsistencies, and areas requiring review.

These analytical frameworks are separate from artificial intelligence. AI does not create the underlying methodology. AI does not independently determine the meaning of a case. Layer 4 — AI-Assisted Administrative Functions Artificial intelligence may assist with administrative and organizational functions, including:

  • summarization;
  • organization;
  • routing;
  • categorization assistance;
  • search assistance;
  • workflow assistance;
  • generating administrative explanations;
  • improving information accessibility.

These functions are designed to assist users in navigating complex information.

4. Human Oversight and Control

Human review remains a required component of the Platform. Users maintain control over:

  • their information;
  • their evidence;
  • their case records;
  • their decisions.

Users may review, correct, provide context for, or disagree with Platform outputs. AI-assisted outputs should be evaluated in context and should not be relied upon without appropriate review.

5. Human Corrections and Feedback

The Platform allows users to provide corrections, additional context, and feedback regarding certain Platform outputs. Examples may include:

  • evidence classifications;
  • routing;
  • interpretations;
  • analytical context;
  • recommendations;
  • organizational decisions.

Human feedback is treated as an important quality and improvement signal. However:

  • corrections do not alter original evidence;
  • corrections do not rewrite historical records automatically;
  • corrections do not independently change case facts;
  • user feedback does not replace professional review.

6. AI Does Not Determine Truth or Credibility

The Platform does not determine:

  • whether a person is truthful;
  • whether a statement is false;
  • whether an allegation occurred;
  • whether evidence is authentic;
  • whether a party acted intentionally.

The Platform may assist users in organizing information, identifying inconsistencies, and reviewing relationships between records. Final interpretation remains with the user and appropriate professionals.

The Platform does not provide legal advice. The Platform does not:

  • recommend a legal outcome;
  • replace an attorney;
  • determine litigation strategy independently;
  • predict court decisions;
  • provide guarantees regarding legal results.

Any strategic, analytical, or organizational outputs are intended to assist users in preparing and reviewing information.

8. User Data and AI Processing

Users retain ownership and control of information submitted to the Platform. CIC processes user information only as necessary to:

  • provide Platform functionality;
  • perform requested workflows;
  • organize information;
  • improve reliability;
  • maintain security.

CIC does not use private user case information to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models. User case information remains associated with the applicable user account and authorized case environment.

9. AI Models and Service Providers

The Platform may utilize third-party technology providers necessary to provide AI-assisted functionality and Platform operations. CIC selects service providers designed to support security, reliability, and responsible processing. Third-party providers do not receive ownership rights to user data.

10. AI Limitations

Users acknowledge that artificial intelligence systems have limitations. AI-assisted outputs may be affected by:

  • incomplete information;
  • inaccurate source materials;
  • missing context;
  • ambiguous information;
  • system limitations;
  • evolving technology.

Users should verify information before relying on it for legal, professional, or personal decisions.

11. No Guarantee of Accuracy

CIC does not guarantee that AI-assisted outputs will always be:

  • complete;
  • accurate;
  • error-free;
  • suitable for a particular purpose.

Users remain responsible for reviewing Platform outputs and determining how information should be used.

12. Security and Confidentiality

CIC uses security measures designed to protect user information. User data is maintained through secured systems with access controls based on:

  • authentication;
  • case membership;
  • permissions;
  • authorized access.

Users are responsible for maintaining account security and controlling authorized collaborators.

13. AI Improvement and Platform Development

CIC may use aggregated, de-identified operational information to improve Platform performance, reliability, and functionality. Such information is not intended to identify individual users, cases, children, parties, or confidential matters.

14. User Acknowledgment

By using AI-assisted features of the Platform, users acknowledge:

  • AI is a tool designed to assist, not replace, human judgment;
  • Platform outputs require review;
  • AI does not provide legal advice;
  • AI does not determine case outcomes;
  • users maintain responsibility for decisions made using Platform information.

15. Updates to This Disclosure

CIC may update this Artificial Intelligence Disclosure & Transparency Statement as technology, Platform functionality, or legal requirements evolve. Updated versions will include a revised effective date.
